She began her violin studies at Keila Music School with Leena Laas and continued at Tallinn Music High School with Prof. Mari Tampere-Bezrodny and Sigrid Kuulmann. She later completed her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Violin Performance at the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre in the class of Prof. Mari Tampere-Bezrodny.

As part of her studies, Merily spent exchange periods at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama in London, studying with Ofer Falk, and at the Musik und Kunst Privatuniversität der Stadt Wien (MUK) in Vienna with Prof. Lidia Baich.

Her ongoing artistic development includes regular participation in masterclasses with internationally renowned violinist and pedagogue Prof. Pierre Amoyal, complemented by occasional private lessons.
